The Tsum Valley trek begins from the market town of Arughat. We make our way up the tropical, forested hills, and settlements set amongst paddy fields. Gradually ascending through the valley above the Budhi Gandaki River basin passes the villages of Soti Khola, Machha Khola, Jagat, and Chisopani. Along the way, the landscape will change and the skyline will have views of different mountain ranges.

From Lokpa, the trek officially enters the Tsum Valley while passing villages like Chumling, Chhokang Paro, and the Nile. En route, you can also explore the Rachen Gompa, a local nunnery, which boasts immense history and cultural influence in the surrounding regions. Finally, your Tsum Valley trek ends at Mu Gompa. In Mu Gompa, you will explore the revered monastery. This is heavily inspired by the cultures of Tibet in the north.

After a night's homestay in Tsum Valley, We head back down the picturesque valley, stopping at different locations as we soak in the complete feel of the Tsum region. You will trek down from Mu Gompa to Chumling, Philim, Khorlabesi, Soti Khola, and finally, arrive at Arughat. Your trek ends at Arughat as you drive back to Kathmandu.
